The preceding poster emanates from the former U.S.S.R a.k.a. the United Soviet Socialist Republics. The name certainly gives the chill to people who actually outlived the socialist era in the Eastern Bloc, but for us, the kids from the 90s, the idea of such a big and powerful pact in the world that actually opposed our very way of life today is supremely utopian.
In the poster we can see Stalingrad(or Сталинградская !), the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea in the background. In the foreground there is the unmistakable Josef Stalin with an exquisite brand of Russian Vodka(try it you won't regret). Around Stalin we can see lots of people who are regarding their Leader-Comrade with great adulation.

I have no specific reason why I chose this poster. It just popped up in my WebBrowser and it was clear to me that it was the It-Poster for my blog. I'm 100% positive that the poster was artificially made by some Web-Designer or rather Web-Geek who was cunning enough to mix the Russian Socialism and the Russian Vodka with American sense of humor.

Anyways, it's cool because it has got a kind of sense of humor that teases the former Eastern Bloc, by claiming Vodka(one of the pride sources of Russia - although first invented in Poland) to be the solution for the problems the Russian society faced throughout the Soviet Union era, because of the harsh government repression.
